This is just a heads-up... there may be somebody or some group out there who follow and collect such stuff.

The OLD is a bunch of Cabell stuff (books, recordings, et al) which have been digitized over the past year or so. This includes the two hardcover Cabell books, CABELLS AND THEIR KIN by Alexander Brown, and 20th CENTURY CABELLS AND THEIR KIN by yours truly. Also the U-2 Incident from the Memoirs of Gen C.P. Cabell, Deputy Director of the CIA at the time (May 1960).

The NEW, and the reason I am putting this notice out, is that I have put together a short overview of the offering on -- what else -- Power Point. My pitch has gotten rave reviews (3), and one person (who probably was groggy from business -related Power Points) even said it is a good use of the tool to tell the story. Another said the pitch is worth seeing even without seeing the 2 CD offering!! Quite frankly, I am trying to inject some excitement into young Cabells, and show them that living in the past is not really so dull after all.

Its a big file (I can't seem to do anything small) -- 7.5 MB -- but that is small enough to find its way under most EMail limits (usually max of 10 MB). It also requires Power Point 2007 but that is a free download if you are still sitting at PP97-2003.

Its' truly a sound-and-light show since about 1/3 of that 7.5 MB bulk is original music which plays in the background. The 3 marches are performed by the Band of the Piltdown Fusiliers :))

If you are interested, get in touch with me and I'll be glad to send you a copy.

Randy Cabell
