Mike Lyman, editor of the forthcoming book, writes this in reply to my query to him about Charles Wills:

"Craig:
Reference Charles Wills
Yes good service for him, capt Andrew Steven's Co 19th VMR attached to LT Col Ballowe's Regt [4th VMR]
He was deputy clerk of Court in 1825 so died after [that year]
Shockoe registers one and two are at http://shockoehillcemetery.org/registry.htm
Listed by date of internment so if he knows death year can easily find him
He is not listed at St Johns in 2011 register
Richmond obits could be reviewed"*

NOTE: I did not find him on the Shockoe Register, but we know there is at least one other WILLS buried there and not on this register.
