It would make a great screen play too! Maybe Speilberg could direct it. It
could follow different German soldiers from their capture. How they were
transported to the U.S., how they ended up all together in a certain
Virginia POW camp, what their life was like, and then where they are today.
Or it could start out with a few of them meeting for a reunion in Virginia
and then flashing back. O.K. somebody write the book, I can't wait to read
it!

there was a pow camp in newport news (or warwick county ) during ww2.
it was  near where patrick henry airport now is.....
randy is right: what a great story a follow up would be.
