There is a short section in "Old Richmond Neighborhoods" by Mary Wingfield Scott, with some images. Original publication 1950. I was looking at the 1984 edition.  May be something in her book "Houses of Old Richmond" as well, did not check.

The Valentine Richmond History Center has Scott's photographs and notes for this publication, most I think. If you are interested in checking for photographs you can send your request to the History Center archives and they can work assist you.

Does anyone know if ANYONE has ever written anything about the Shed Town
area of then Henrico County - the eastern part of Church Hill north area
of Richmond?  Some documents state our house as being either in or on
the border of Shed Town but in Church Hill ... 27th Street, while others
say the border started at 25th Street.

Was wondering about the landscape especially around the 1800-1820 era.
Any paintings or photos in later years?  Thanks!

Eric
