As I've said elsewhere here, my father's Cardwells have lived in hen-
wreck-uh since the late 1600s, or in Richmond. The only hen-rike-o I
hear is from media people, and then of course newcomers pick it up
from them. Can we get another stimulating discussion going- is it PO-
white Parkway, or POW-hite? Since it is supposedly an Indian word,
and the Indians also had POW-hatan [not pow-HAT-tan, please!], I vote
for POW-hite.
