Genealogists' spelling.  'Guildford' for Guilford county, NC is only the
latest error.

Another pet peeve is 'Glouchester' for Gloucester County, VA.  I can only
suggest that it can be VERY important not to assume too much about spelling
of jurisdictions while that for surnames may even be wise.

     Peter Parrish, Parish, Parris, Paris or whatever in Richmond
