The front 45 feet of an iron-hulled packet boat is on display at the
12th street Power Plant in Richmond, although for how much longer due
to renovation is problematical. During the 1983-1985 James Center
excavations, we also got a nearly complete packet boat, iron-hulled,
with the wood interior from which we were finally able to get some
measurements and ideas about what went where. That, sadly, awaits funds
for write-up.
