Nice site. I've had the link before, but there is much more to it now.
Spent a fascinating afternoon comparing the two newspaper in Franklin in
reaction to certain dates. The Spirit expresses prejudice towards
"Negroes", whereas the Register expresses more modern values.

K-12 teachers are very much generalists compared to professional and
academic historians.
