I have found Charles City County court records in which testimony is given
in 1666 by several men who were "prest upon the country's service" and
summoned to Jamestown 5 years earlier, in Aug or Sep 1661, to give testimony
in a courts martial. Are there any records extant that would cover, or at
least explain the nature of, the particulars or cause of the courts martial
in Aug-Sep 1661?

Thanx
Michael
