Who chose these for the four people who are the great Virginians from 1900
to Present to be studied in the SOL History program? Maggie Walker, Harry
Byrd, Arthur Ashe and Doug Wilder? Three of them contributed little to the
state other than the fact they were Black, and the other was an avowed racist.
Pretty sad.

Virginia 1900 to the Present:

a) identifying the political, social, and/or economic contributions
made by Maggie Walker, Harry F. Byrd, Sr., Arthur R. Ashe, Jr., and L. Douglas
Wilder.
