The Cries of London Broadsides are very useful in looking at working class
dress. Below are links to two portions of one broadside from around 1620 or
so. While upper class dress would have been more fashionable by 1652, you
would still see working class people wearing the type of dress shown in the
broadside.

The images linked were done before Laroon did his version in the 1680's.
