Professor Warren Billings, of the Univeristy of New Orleans, has asked
us to post this request, which for some reason he has not been able to
post from his own computer:

I am at work on a revised edition of The Old Dominion in the Seventeenth
Century: A Documentary History of Virginia, 1606-1689, which the
Omohundro Institute of Early American History intends to publish in
2007. My goal is to update chapter topics, chapter introductions,
suggested readings, and the documents themselves. I am also hopeful of
being able to include a wider range of illustrations, particularly
images of things that have come from the Jamestown Rediscovery digs. I
know that many readers of the list have used the book, and so I would
welcome suggestions any of you might have for improving upon the
existing volume. Please reply off list.
