Finding aids for the first two volumes of the Dictionary of Virginia
Biography are located on the Library of Virginia's Web site at:
http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whatwedo/pubs/dvb/classind/index.htm You will
find an alphabetical list of subjects; lists of women, African
Americans, and Native Americans; a list of contributors and the
biographies they have written; lists of birth places and principal
places of residence; and a classified index of occupations and fields of
achievement.

Volume 3, containing 471 biographies and covering surnames Caperton
through Daniels, will appear later this year.
