Hello everyone,
I was in Luxembourg City on VE Day in 1997 and was fortunate enough to watch

a wreath laying ceremony at the grave of Gen. Patton. Apparently this is a
yearly event conducted by Luxembourgois veterans. Also, according to the
"Harper Encyclopedia of Military Biography," Gen. Patton was born in San
Gabriel, California on November 11, 1885; "descendant of an old Virginia
military family; studied at VMI (1904), and then attended West Point
(1905-1909)." Hope this helps someone.
