Bill and Phebe,
    I have the whole copy of the HITE-FAIRFAX  manuscript, the one 
transcribed from the archives in England. I can't find it  right now; but when it 
shows up, I will check it for mention of slaves. From  memory, I don't 
remember slaves being mention; but I could be wrong.
