I have been asked to give a program early next year about music of that time to a local chapter of the Daughters of Colonial Wars. I can handled the music, but have a couple of more basic questions.

#1 - Rosters of Virginians in the Virginia Militia, 1747-1770. Does any such thing exist? I see that both Massachusetts and NY have rosters. I would like to search out my GGGGGrandfather, Col. William Cabell, and find his unit(s) and his campaigns.

#2 - Reenactor's uniform of the Virginia Militia, ca. 1770. Any idea of where to find an inexpensive quality wool uniform coat? There must be seamtresses/seamsters in Virginia who make such.

Randy Cabell
