In my opinion, using your analysis, he may have been honoring his father,
RANDOLPH JEFFERSON, who he indicated was his father by oral tradition. The
DNA test proved his oral family history as correct.. there was a
match.....BUT NOT Thomas. Regardless of what appears on the Monticello web
page, ESTON NEVER claimed TJ was his father, but his brother Madison did and
we know how wrong he was on other claims.
