My maternal line DNA test trace my female line from North Africa, into
Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, France, and England, before landing in
America. I was familiar with this line (Llewelyn & Lewis), since I had
traced it through a male ancestor. The female line connects to Henry VIII's
mother, Elizabeth, and to the Warner Lewis line in Virginia. The only point
of interest is that my ethnicity is African American. The Moors entered
Spain over the Iberian Peninsula, and traveled throughout Europe. My
understanding is that Alexander Dumas was a Moor (wrote the Three
Musketeers).

Thanks for pointing that out.

Anita
