Lyle,

The Library of Virginia has the annual registers listing teachers 
employed in the state; I believe they are listed by county and the 
schools in which they taught are noted, but it has been years since I 
looked at these and cannot say for sure. This would, hopefully, at least 
give you the names of the schools.

CG, Certified Genealogist, is a service mark of the Board for
