Good Question about Thanksgiving and the Berkeley Plantation. The Hornbook of
Virginia History states on Page 221 that the Berkeley Plantation was build in
1726 by Benjamin Harrison the father of the Benjamin Harrison who signed the
Declaration of Independence. I would think that the First Thanksgiving
happened at least 100 years before the Berkeley Plantation was built.
