I am attempting to locate what was described in 1878 as the old Richmond 
Cemetery(see transcription of letter below). 
 
The subject of the letter died in 1690.  This would pre dated either the the 
Shockoe Hill Cemetery and the Hollywood Cemetery.

Mrs, Jane Jackman

Your Enquiry of 8-1 regarding the records on the grave stories of the 
Jackmans in the Old Richmond gravyard.  

I find but one with the name of Rev. John  Jackman.

Born AD 1626 
Died AD 1696 Aged 60 - 7-20

This stone is down and badly decayed.
