I suspect that the volumes you are looking for are part of the Auditor 
of Public Accounts papers. I would start by calling the Library of 
Virginia's Archives Reference and ask to speak to Minor Weisiger. If he 
can't answer your question, I would begin looking at the references to 
Thomas Shaw found in Hamilton J. Eckenrode, /Virginia Soldiers of the 
American Revolution/. 2 vols. (Richmond, Va.: Va. State Library and 
Archives. Volume one of Eckenrode is noted as published  with the 8th 
annual report of the Library Board of the Va. State Library (1912).
