The next program in the Virginia Heritage Resource Center's Mining the
Treasure House Lecture series will take place at noon on Tuesday, 21 May,
2002, in the conference rooms adjacent to the lobby in the Library of
Virginia at 800 East Broad Street in downtown Richmond.

The speaker will be Edwin Ray, Reference Librarian in the Library Reference
Services Section at the Library. His topic will be, "The Honored Dead:
Researching the Virginia Military Dead Database." He is compiling a list of
all Virginians who died in wars from the Spanish-American War forward. The
database currently contains names of those who died through World War I.

There is free underground parking for Library patrons. For more information
on this and other programs and services of the Libaray of Virginia please
