The Library of Virginia is pleased to announce the opening of "Maps,
Charts, and Atlases: The Alan M. Voorhees Collection at the Library of
Virginia," a major exhibition of early cartography that the Library of
Virginia recently acquired from one of the state's most distinguished
collectors.

The exhibition can be viewed in the Library's main exhibition gallery
from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday (state holidays
excepted) from 1 March 2004 through 3 July 2004.

The Library of Virginia is located at 800 East Broad Street in downtown
Richmond. There is free underground parking for Library visitors.
