Samuel Alburtis published a paper in Martinsburg, VA (now WV) during the
Civil War. I believe it was called the Republican Intelligencer. I was told
by a Civil War buff that supposedly the paper was pro-Confederacy, and
during one of the many occupations of Martinsburg by the Union Army, the
place of publication of Samuel Alburtis's paper was burned. I have never
found any documentation to support this claim.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
