Just in time to spread some holiday cheer, one of our archivists found a
case involving the Christmas Aeroplane Company while processing
Arlington County chancery causes. Despite its cheery name, the company,
founded by William Christmas, would create the Christmas Bullet that
took off for its first and only flight in January 1919 with lethal
results. Check out today's blog for more on Mr. Christmas and his less
than successful experiments in aviation.
