FAMILYSEARCH.ORG is the online LDS site. The only thing you won't get there
is the nice little old ladies who have bent over backwards to help me do the
beginning research for my families histories.
The LDS isn't perfect, but they have done a pretty neat job of recording a
lot of data vs. the rest of us who have not appreciated the value of family
histories to aid our history research.
If you can give them a little financial support, donations, and if you have
done ACCURATE family history research let them add it to their files.

All,
Try The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, most of their Wards
have Genealogy Libraries and they have the Family History Library in Salt
Lake City, Utah.
