R.B. You caught the effects of these Anne statements also. I just posted
my reply having not read your reply because I am so far behind in my
replies and just moving down the posts. Who is she insulting.........men
or Virginians or both? She is really insulting Thomas Jefferson and she
has no proof of this just as AGR, Kukla and the others have NO proof,
yet that does not deter them from writing lies and unproven statements,
freedom of the press you know and they take full advantage of it as Mr.
Jefferson knew and noted in his day...........so what has changed?

"Other than Jefferson's affair with Sally Hemings, which I am inclined
to
believe just on the fact that Jefferson was a man and a Virginian"

So, being a man and/or a Virginian makes an affair with his slave
believable? I ponder who shall be more incensed over this statement -
the men or the Virginian. One should consider those of us who fit into
both categories SOL?
