I am trying to run down (an affordable) copy of this 300+ page book. A used one is $99.95 at AMAZON, but there must be something in paperback somewhere. Or perhaps even better, in electronic form on a CD.

I recall getting one from a library some years ago, and it is the best description of the early days of UVa that I have ever read. (Not to mention that it restores some of the lustre to Joseph Carrington Cabell who a couple of years ago was subjected to such a drubbing in CABELL'S CANAL :)))))

Any ideas?
