Good Morning,

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Sargeant Memorial Local History and Genealogy Collection of the Norfolk Public Library has reopened in our new temporary location. We are now on the first floor of the Mary D Pretlow Anchor Branch at 111 West Ocean View Avenue in Norfolk, VA. We were not able to take everything but we do have the most used items on site. We had to put everything else into temperature controlled storage and can be requested to be sent to our temporary location within one business day. When the Slover Memorial Library has been constructed in about 2 to 2 ½ years, we will move back into our permanent home in downtown Norfolk.

Our hours are the same M-Th 10AM - 9PM; F-Sat 10AM - 5PM; & Sun 1PM - 5PM.

If you have questions, please call us at (757) 664 - 7485 or email: [log in to unmask]

You can visit us online: http://www.npl.lib.va.us/smrt/smr_home.html

Sincerely,

W. Troy Valos
Sargeant Memorial Collection
Norfolk Public Library
