Greetings all,

I teach Black History at a local college and one of my students told me
about the Willie Lynch letter. I learned about it several years ago, and was
told that it is a complete myth, and told her so. She challenged me as to how I
know it's not true, and I can't find a scholarly source, nor can the campus
librarians.

What do you know about the truth of the Willie Lynch letter? Can you point
me to a review or article in a scholarly history journal or other journal
regarding it? When your students ask, what do you tell them?

Thanks,

Karen E. Sutton
