Some folks here at the Library of Virginia have been kicking around the question since we saw your post. The best guess so far is that ERRDS may be an abbreviation for a newspaper supplement, like the Richmond News Leader's "Green Section" that came out on Saturdays with the listings of television shows, movies, etc.
