Hi Everyone,

Please consider joining us for our Baseball and Richmond Tour!

On Saturday, June 11, 2005, Scott P. Mayer, co-author of Baseball and
Richmond, will be leading our Baseball Tour of Richmond. The tour begins
at 3:00 p.m. with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Diamond. Following that
we will do a 2-hour driving tour through Richmond focusing on the teams
and ball parks/fields that are such an important part of Richmond history.
We will then return to the Diamond for the 7:00 p.m. Richmond Braves game
against the Syracuse SkyChiefs. Cost is $30 per person, $27 for VRHC
members and children 6-18 and includes parking at the Diamond, the bus
tour with the author, and a box seat ticket for the game. Scott's book
will also be available for purchase and he will be available to sign your
copy.

Scott has a lot of information to share, and it promises to be a fun
filled outing. Advance reservations are required and can be made by
calling 804-649-0711, ext. 0
