AMERICAN REVOLUTION ROUND TABLE of RICHMOND

NEWS UPDATE

Yes, Santa Claus is coming to town. But so is Benedict Arnold – on January 4 and 5. St. John’s Church Foundation, Richmond National Battlefield Park, and Henricus Historical Park are combining to offer “The British Are Coming!” - Benedict Arnold’s Raid on Richmond. This is the second annual living history event interpreting the capture of Richmond by British Brigadier General Benedict Arnold on January 5, 1781.

There will be Friday van tours covering Arnold’s route to Richmond, with stops at various historical spots. Saturday morning will feature talks and music at St. John’s Church. The afternoon will offer displays of uniforms, weapons, and equipment and living history events on the grounds of Chimborazo Medical Museum.

ARRT-Richmond will be represented on Saturday at St. John’s. Please come and join us. Check these sites for details and further information. Reservations and payment are required only for the van tours.
