The records of some localities are available on microfilm. If the records
are on microfilm you can use the reels at the LVA, the locality's clerks
office (each locality only has its own film), or order the reels through
Interlibrary Loan. Some are available only in their original format and
must therefore be viewed at the Library of Virginia. Again all this is
outlined for you on the "What's available" page of the Chancery Records
Index to see which are which. Really, I swear it is! :)

Also, please remember to direct all questions to the [log in to unmask]
e-mail address or use the "Questions or Comments" link off the CRI web site.
This account does not accept list serve messages which means someone must
notice that the CRI is getting questions and then forward that e-mail onto
this account. Thanks for you cooperation.
