Fellow historians:

As a long time historian of Virginia, it occurs to me that we ought to consider
the wide spread consequences of Rev. Dr. W.A.R. Goodwin and his role in
"re-creating" Williamsburg.  How many Virginia historians, not to mention
millions of Americans have been influenced by all of that which he inspired that
day back in the 1920's?
