I am unfamiliar with King William County records and have no idea what is or isn't available or how far back?

I am seeking some information on this couple:

Austin T. Lipscomb and wife Mary D. Wills Lipscomb (previously married to a Philip Budlong)

Austin was born c.1792 and seems to may have been a clerk at the Henrico court at one time along with a brother named Thornton C. Lipscomb. He was involved with the marriage of Thornton in 1814 but later seen Austin listed as Augustine. I have also seen people named Augustine Lipscomb but think in this case may have been a mistake since someone may have mistaken him saying "Austin T." as Augustine?

In any event, I believe he moved back to the St. Johns Parish area of King William County and died between 1840-1850. His wife probably born c.1798 died November 15, 1830 in K.W. and I assume is buried there. She had a son a few months earlier named Charles C. Lipscomb who moved to Norfolk and died 1880.

From all accounts we believe he is the son of a Benoni T. Lipscomb and Mary Cole but not confirmed.

Any help appreciated!

Eric
