One of my eagle-eyed colleagues has brought to my attention an error in
the original press release about Bob Carlin's program based on his new
book, The Birth of the Banjo: Joel Walker Sweeney and Early Minstrelsy.
Bob Carlin will be performing at the Library of Virginia on Wednesday
(not Thursday), 11 July, at 5:30. The event is free to the public, but
please RSVP to 804-692-3813 if you will be attending.
