Dear Dr. Kern: I have a life long interest in George Washington. It is true that there were some people in the post-Revolutionary War-early Federal period of the country that wanted to do this. I will search my materials at home and will get you an answer. It might not be right away because I babysit my niece after school and am quite busy with two parttime jobs but I will not forget you. Jane Steele.
