In case this may help...

Capt. Charles Wills was son of Josiah Wills (1746-1825) who married 1772
in Isle of Wight Co., VA to Mary Driver. (later he remarried 1797 to a
Patsey Uzzell)

Capt. Charles Wills was married to someone named Sarah "Sally" _____ who
died 1826. Haven't been able to find any marriage record? Suspect last
name begins with the letter 'B'.

Children of the captain:

Mary D. Wills (c.1792-c.1835) + 1820 Richmond, VA to Phillip Budlong
(1789-1825) and then 1829 Richmond, VA to Austin T. Lipscomb. Budlong
was from Rhode Island and is where he is buried.

Elizabeth B. Wills (1804-after 1845) + 1833 Richmond, VA to Samuel P.
Christian, Jr.

Charles Wills (1806-1839) - was Deputy Clerk for Henrico County many
years

Sarah Wills (1808-1861) + 1828 Richmond, VA to John Frazier Alvey
(1808-1837). John committed suicide. Their son John Frazier Alvey Jr.
was in partnership with Lewis Ginter pre war.

Josiah M. Wills (1809-1855) + 1835 Norfolk, VA to Margaret Moran Walsh
(1814-1856) - he died of Yellow Fever and was president of Virginia
Farmer's Bank - Norfolk as well as co-partner in a small passenger ship
line.

The captain also had at least one brother named Thomas Wills (1773-1825)
died in Nanesmond County, VA.
