On Monday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m.–4:15 p.m., Lee Chapel & Museum at 
Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va., presents “The Historical 
Legacy of Robert E. Lee,” a special Lee Memorial Program commemorating the 
200th anniversary of Robert E. Lee's birth. It features talks by several noted 
scholars and authors. The event, in Lee Chapel, is open to the public at no 
charge.
