The Petersburg chancery digital project is now complete, covering the years 1787-1912. A highlight in this latest addition of images for years 1889-1912 is a suit between unhappy church members and their threatening, thieving pastor which describes a church meeting that got so out of control police had to be called in to restore order. Read about this case and a few other suits of interest in today's blog post.
