Postal records are held by the National Archives in Washington, D.C. This
should give you the information you need. Historical societies in Madison
and Rappahannock Counties may have information on it also.

Subject: Nethers, VA Post Office

Does anyone have any information about the Nethers, VA Post Office - would
have been in Madison and/or Rappahonnock County up until the mid 1900's.
Nethers, VA now has a Sperryville, VA mailing address but the city sign is
still there. My grandparents visited there in the 1950's and we have a
post-marked card.
Would appreciate any help.
Ann Laird
