Late 19th- to early 20th-century letterhead is one of our favorite things. We
would like to share with you the visual feast of letterheads, billheads, and
envelopes found in the state archive at the Library of Virginia. They range
from the fanciful to practical and are rarely boring. For the past several
months LVA archivists have collected some of the most interesting to share on
the Out of the Box blog. Check out this week’s post to see them and read
about why they were created in the first place.
