Here's something that could make for a lively discussion for the List:
Anyone want to comment on the removal of the cross from the Wren Chapel?
The new president of William & Mary snuck into the chapel last Fall and, all 
by himself, decided to remove the cross from the chapel in order to make the 
chapel (not a multi-purpose facility, but a chapel) more diversity-friendly.
He did this all on his own without consulting with anyone.
It has caused quite a stir in these parts.
