I have recently seen excerpts from Shenandoah County resident Levi Pittman's Diary (1844-80) which were compiled by hand ca. 1977 by Daniel Bly in the manuscripts collection at the UVA. Are the complete contents of that diary available now somewhere on-line? If so, how can one access it? It appears to have a wealth of information about people and events in that area and period.

              :-) Bob
