On Monday, June 7, 2010 from 7pm to 9 pm the newly formed Greater  
Petersburg Historical Society will meet at Demolition Coffee, 215 East  
Bank Street, Petersburg.
This general meeting is seeking to attract a diverse membership who,  
according to their press release, "has an interest in the Petersburg  
region and needs the community's input in the stories and places they  
feel are important to the city and the surrounding area."
They plan to offer programs, exhibits, and information to those who  
are interested in Petersburg's rich historical resources.
