Those DNA tests are likewise pretty shaky...and not considered
reliable...as to degrees or percentages of nationality...

It isn't about fear and prejudice...it is about Blood Lines...in other
words, Cherokee by Blood, you really should have an ancestor that was
Cherokee to be a Citizen of the Tribe....:)

Fear and prejudice is the 1700s Euopean concept of Blood Quatum, all
Cherokee Citizens carry around a BIA card with their Blood Quantum on
it!! The purpose of this was so that they could *breed out* the
Indian Blood...now that's fear and prejudice.....:) My grand father
born in 1902 in the Cherokee Nation was not even considered a Citizen
of the US...so Indians aren't the only ones that determine who can or
can not be citizens....:)
