Dear Texas,

For information about the Northern Neck of Virginia* rootsweb list, click here:

(3) to simply browse or search the lists archived messages on rootsweb, go to

* Please note: for purposes of this particular rootsweb list, the counties included are the modern day Northern Neck Counties of Northumberland, Lancaster, Richmond and Westmoreland, as well as the those counties included in the Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Society who add King George and Stafford Counties. Further, due to migration and genealogical reasons, we also include Middlesex and Essex Counties. Please do not confuse this description with the much broader area of the Northern Neck Proprietary. And just to muck things up, the newly formed Northern Neck/Middle Peninsula Historic Preservation Society.....well, never mind. This is enough for now.
