Were Washington designated king, George Washington Parke Custis was his adopted, and only,?son.? GWPC as king designate had four children, but only one survived to adulthood, Mary Anna Randolph Custis.? She married Robert E. Lee.? Therefore, at the time the War of Northern Invasion took place, the Lee family would have ruled the U.S. for quite some time, and the whole unnecessary mess would never have taken place. REL would have seen that slavery, an institution he detested,?was ended, and we would all live happily ever, except for Sally Hemmings descendants who are still trying to figure out whom daddy was.

By the way, I am working on a theory that Sojourner Truth had an illegitimate son by Robert E. Lee.? If there is anyone out there who would like to assist me in the project, please register at the for-profit site jsouth.com (or is it .org?).

You people are amazing.?
?
When asked a real question about VA Hist.?
?
"The closest reference at hand was HIS EXCELLENCY by Ellis and a quick index search found two instances where this might have come about, right after Yorktown and the Newburgh Conspiracy.?
?
I'm sure there were others, so I'm asking if anyone one this list can enlighten me so I can pass the information on."?
All you can do is belittle the person asking and then somehow use a question about GW to continue your petty little school yard taunting.?
